which took place at Hayward field on Sunday, June 8, in Eugene, Oregon.
Named for legendary distance runner Steve Prefontaine, the Prefontaine Classic is the premier track-and-field meet in the United States.
Athletes must be ranked in the Top 50 in the world in their events to be eligible to compete. The 34th annual meet included top talent from around the world, including Nutrilite-sponsored atheletes Sanya Richards and Liu Xiang. Asafa Powell, also sponsored by Nutrilite, did not compete due to an injury.
