Amway started in the United States and is a top 50 US privately owned company, employing more than 15,000 people globally and operating in more than 80 countries and territories. Amway has been successfully operating for more than 50 years globally, and close to 40 years in Australia and 25 years in New Zealand and is one of the largest direct selling businesses in the world, with sales of more than $US8.4 billion. We also have 800 patents – with 600 patents pending. Since operations began in Australia, we now have over 100,000 Australians and New Zealanders who have started their own business with Amway. In Australia Triple Olympic Gold Medallist Libby Trickett is our Amway Ambassador.

Globally, Amway has succeeded in many areas. One of these areas include being the no. 1 Business for bonuses and incentives for business owners. Not only do they have 3.5 million Independent Business Owners, they have paid more than $US30 billion in bonuses and incentives to business owners – more than any other business in the direct sales industry. And that doesn’t include retail profit. Amway has also donated more than $US 112 million to charitable causes and helped seven million children. Globally, Amway focuses on supporting a variety of children’s charities. In Australia our current charity is Freedom Wheels. Amway has donated more than $A500,000 to help children with disabilities ride a bike for the first time through the Freedom Wheels initiative.
